Pootler's Design Team - Week 5

Hi everyone, welcome to the final week of my Design Team Series, using the Quirky Critters Stamp Set.

For this weeks project I added a couple of other stamp sets into the mix to show that you don't have to just stick to one set or suite.  I used the balloons from 'Balloon Celebration' and the 'Diagonal Stripe' background stamp.

I used alcohol markers from my non-Stampin' Up! stash to colour the bird and balloons, I then coated the balloons with a layer of Wink of Stellar to give them some shine!

Thanks very much for joining me again today, I have listed all of the products used below.

Pootler's Design Team - Week 4

Hi all

Here's this weeks project using the Quirky Critter's Stamp Set.

I used a number of techniques for this card, starting with tone on tone stencilling on the base using Fresh Fig Ink & Cardstock along with one of the stencils from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.

For the centre piece, I heat embossed the image onto watercolour cardstock and over painted it using ink that had been smushed (that is a word - in my mind anyhow!) onto an acrylic block and mixed with water.  To add the finishing touch I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots.

Thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoy looking at the projects from the other members of the Design Team.  Here's a list of the products I have used.

Pootler's Design Team - Week 3

Hi everyone,

Here's my third project for the Pootler's Design Team, using the Quirky Critters Stamp Set.  This one's perfect for me as I am rubbish at remembering to send cards...I never forget the birthday, I just forget to post the card!!!!

For this card I used a Whisper White card base and a dimensional Smoky Slate layer with a window cut out using the Layering Squares Framelits.  I coloured the Sloth using the fabulous Watercolour Pencils & Blending Pens and sponged the sky using Soft Sky Ink.  I created the tree using the branch & leaf dies from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits with Garden Green and Early Espresso cardstock.  The little wooden flower comes from the Touches of Nature Elements.

Here's a list of the products I used, if you'd like to purchase any of them all you have to do is click on the picture and you'll be taken over to my store.
