Building Block Favour Box

Summer is almost at an end and it won't be much longer before all crafter's attentions turn to Christmas projects.  I am eager to make a start creating with the great Christmas goodies in the new Stampin' Up seasonal catalogue but I will resist, for a couple more weeks at least!

Well no matter what the season our kids will continue to have birthday's so this week's project is a toy building brick shaped favour box.  I got my inspiration for this video from pictures on Pinterest (as with most of my projects), there are so many different ones on there that I can't credit everyone individually.

I have sized the larger of the boxes to fit a standard toy car but the sizes can be changed to whatever you need them to be.

As promised in the video here are the sizes for the smaller box:

You need a piece of card stock measuring 6-3/4 x 6 inches.
Score at:

6-3/4 side, score at - 1-1/4, 2-3/4, 4 & 5-1/2
6 inch side, score at - 1, 2-1/4, 3-3/4 & 5

Make cuts as shown in the template below and put together as in the video.

If you would like any more information on how I made these boxes, please don't be afraid to ask.

Products used on this weeks project:

Real Red Card Stock
Tombow Liquid Glue
Stampin' Trimmer
1/2 inch Circle Punch
Project Life Corner Rounder
